Cross-border protected areas show that only together can nature and resources be sustainably preserved. Five countries — Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe — have come together to protect this unique region — for nature and for the people who live here.

This impressive landscape comprises 19 national parks, 103 wildlife management areas and 60 forest reserves. Living here is over 650 bird species, more than half of all savanna elephants in Africa And round a quarter of African wild dogs. There are three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in this area: the Victoria Falls, that Okavango Delta And the Tsodilo Hills.

At the heart of this region are People along the rivers, whose cultures and traditions are closely linked to nature. Anyone who discovers this diversity not only supports the protection of wild animals, but also the development of communities and the preservation of cultural heritage.

For everyone who loves nature and wildlife: Be part of this extraordinary experience.
